MSCAN

Melanoma & Skin Cancer Advocacy Network

Partners: MSCAN

MSCAN is an innovative, consumer-led and independent national charity that was established to address the needs of Australians with a skin cancer diagnosis and to deliver policy reform that will help shape the way skin cancer is considered and managed in this country.

MSCAN engages, represents and informs the community with a focus on three key areas:

  • Advocacy & Influencing Policy

  • Innovation in Research & Care

  • Resources & Information

Good Point Design has had the pleasure of working with MSCAN’s Founder and Director, Tamara Dawson, over the last two years to develop branded collateral that helps to tell MSCAN’s story and connect with community members, organisations and stakeholders in health care.

Seeking to stand out from its competitors and putting clarity and accessibility above all else, MSCAN materials are fresh, clear and informative. Good Point Design has combined graphic design and illustration – in a variety of products, from medical diagrams, to infographics, to flyers and banners – all to help bring MSCAN’s vision and mission to life.

Through their collaboration with MSCAN, Good Point Design was also invited to create a logo for the Melanoma & Skin Cancer Nurses Organisation (MSCNO). Working closely with MSCAN, MSCNO is an independent, national, nurse-led group that has been established to share and exchange expert knowledge about skin cancer. As a group, they support hundreds of patients through their melanoma and skin cancer journey each year.

The MSCNO is focused on supporting health care delivery to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes for Australians diagnosed with melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.

Their logo is designed to be compatible with, but separate to, MSCAN’s.
